يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ خَلْقًا مِن بَعْدِ خَلْقٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ ثَلَاثٍ 39:6

39:6 He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness.

FOETUS PROTECTED BY THREE VEILS OF DARKNESS
Prof. (Dr.) Keith Moore is the Professor of Embryology and Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at the University of Toronto, in Canada.

At present he is one of the highest authorities in the field of Embryology.

Prof. Keith Moore agrees that these three veils of darkness pointed out in the Qur’an refer to:
(i) anterior abdominal wall of the mother
(ii) the uterine wall
(iii) the amnio-chorionic membrane.
