Allah(swt), told us to make us realize

 وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَدَارُ الآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ 12:109

اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے بستيوں کے رہنے والوں ميں سے مرد ہي بھيجے تھے جن کي طرف ہم وحي بھيجتے تھے. کيا ان لوگوں نے ملک ميں سير (وسياحت) نہيں کي کہ ديکھ ليتے کہ جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے ان کا انجام کيا ہوا. اور متّقيوں کے ليے آخرت کا گھر بہت اچھا ہے. کيا تم سمجھتے نہيں؟ 12:109

 12:109 And [even] before thy time, We never sent [as Our apostles] any but [mortal] men, whom We inspired, [and whom We always chose] from among the people of the [very] communities [to whom the message was to be brought]. Have, then, they [who reject this divine writ] never journeyed about the earth and beheld what happened in the end to those [deniers of the truth] who lived before them?-and [do they not know that] to those who are conscious of God the life in the hereafter is indeed better [than this world]? Will they not, then, use their reason?12:109

 12:109 Nor did We send before thee (as apostles) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand?12:109
