Allah(swt), Made Rivers to Serve Us

 وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ 16:14

اور وہي تو ہے جس نے دريا کو تمہارے اختيار ميں کيا تاکہ اس ميں سے تازہ گوشت کھاؤ اور اس سے زيور (موتي وغيرہ) نکالو جسے تم پہنتے ہو. اور تم ديکھتے ہو کہ کشتياں دريا ميں پاني کو پھاڑتي چلي جاتي ہيں. اور اس ليے بھي (دريا کو تمہارے اختيار ميں کيا) کہ تم خدا کے فضل سے (معاش) تلاش کرو تاکہ اس کا شکر کرو 16:14

 16:14 And He it is who has made the sea subservient [to His laws], so that you might eat fresh meat from it, and take from it gems which you may wear. And on that [very sea] one sees ships ploughing through the waves, so that you might [be able to] go forth in quest of some of His bounty, and thus have cause to be grateful [to Him].16:14

 16:14 It is He Who has made the sea subject, that ye may eat thereof flesh that is fresh and tender, and that ye may extract therefrom ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the bounty of Allah and that ye may be grateful.16:14
