Shatan, Devil, Disobeyed Allah(swt)

 قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَكَ هَـذَا الَّذِي كَرَّمْتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنْ أَخَّرْتَنِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لأَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ إَلاَّ قَلِيلاً 17:62

(اور از راہ طنز) کہنے لگا کہ ديکھ تو يہي وہ ہے جسے تو نے مجھ پر فضيلت دي ہے. اگر تو مجھ کو قيامت کے دن تک مہلت دے تو ميں تھوڑے سے شخصوں کے سوا اس کي (تمام) اولاد کي جڑ کاٹتا رہوں گا17:62

 17:62 [And] he added: "Tell me, is this [foolish being] the one whom Thou hast exalted above me? Indeed, if Thou wilt but allow me a respite till the Day of Resurrection, I shall most certainly cause his descendants-all but a few-to obey me blindly ! 17:62
