وَرَبَطْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ إِذْ قَامُوا فَقَالُوا رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَن نَّدْعُوَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلَهًا لَقَدْ قُلْنَا إِذًا شَطَطًا 18:14 |

اور ان کے دلوں کو مربوط (يعني مضبوط) کرديا. جب وہ (اُٹھ) کھڑے ہوئے تو کہنے لگے کہ ہمارا پروردگار آسمانوں اور زمين کا مالک ہے. ہم اس کے سوا کسي کو معبود (سمجھ کر) نہ پکاريں گے (اگر ايسا کيا) تو اس وقت ہم نے بعيد از عقل بات کہي 18:14

18:14 and endowed their hearts with strength, so that they stood up and said [to one another]: "Our Sustainer is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth. Never shall we invoke any deity other than Him: [if we did,] we should indeed have uttered an enormity!18:14
