وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ وَلَا تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُ فُرُطًا 18:28 |

اور جو لوگ صبح و شام اپنے پروردگار کو پکارتے اور اس کي خوشنودي کے طالب ہيں. ان کے ساتھ صبر کرتے رہو. اور تمہاري نگاہيں ان ميں (گزر کر اور طرف) نہ دوڑيں کہ تم آرائشِ زندگاني دنيا کے خواستگار ہوجاؤ. اور جس شخص کے دل کو ہم نے اپني ياد سے غافل کرديا ہے اور وہ اپني خواہش کي پيروي کرتا ہے اور اس کا کام حد سے بڑھ گيا ہے اس کا کہا نہ ماننا 18:28

18:28 And contain thyself in patience by the side of all who at morn and at evening invoke their Sustainer, seeking His countenance, and let not thine eyes pass beyond them in quest of the beauties of this world's life; and pay no heed to any whose heart We have rendered heedless of all remembrance of Us because he had always followed [only] his own desires, abandoning all that is good and true. 18:28

18:28 And keep thy soul content with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face; and let not thine eyes pass beyond them, seeking the pomp and glitter of this Life; no obey any whose heart We have permitted to neglect the remembrance of Us, one who follows his own desires, whose case has gone beyond all bounds.18:28
