 وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَيُجَادِلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَمَا أُنذِرُوا هُزُوًا 18:56

اور ہم جو پيغمبروں کو بھيجا کرتے ہيں تو صرف اس لئے کہ (لوگوں کو خدا کي نعمتوں کي) خوشخبرياں سنائيں اور (عذاب سے) ڈرائيں. اور جو کافر ہيں وہ باطل کي (سند) سے جھگڑا کرتے ہيں تاکہ اس سے حق کو پھسلا ديں اور انہوں نے ہماري آيتوں کو اور جس چيز سے ان کو ڈرايا جاتا ہے ہنسي بنا ليا18:56

 18:56 But We send [Our] message-bearers only as heralds of glad tidings and as warners - whereas those who are bent on denying the truth contend [against them] with fallacious arguments, so as to render void the truth thereby, and to make My messages and warnings a target of their mockery.18:56

 18:56 We only send the apostles to give Glad Tidings and to give warnings: But the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!18:56
