وَإِذِ ابْتَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ رَبُّهُ بِكَلِمَاتٍ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًا قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي قَالَ لاَ يَنَالُ عَهْدِي الظَّالِمِينَ 2:124 |

اور جب پروردگار نے چند باتوں ميں ابراہيم کي آزمائش کي تو ان ميں پورے اترے. خدا نے کہا کہ ميں تم کو لوگوں کا پيشوا بناؤں گا. انہوں نے کہا کہ (پروردگار) ميري اولاد ميں سے بھي (پيشوا بنائيو). خدا نے فرمايا کہ ہمارا اقرار ظالموں کے ليے نہيں ہوا کرتا 2:124

2:124 And [remember this:] when his Sustainer tried Abraham by [His] commandments and the latter fulfilled them, He said: "Behold, I shall make thee a leader of men. "Abraham asked: "And [wilt Thou make leaders] of my offspring as well? "[God] answered: "My covenant does not embrace the evildoers." 2:124
