إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ بِهِ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ 2:173 |

اس نے تم پر مرا ہوا جانور اور لہو اور سور کا گوشت اور جس چيز پر خدا کے سوا کسي اور کا نام پکارا جائے حرام کرديا ہے ہاں جو ناچار ہوجائے (بشرطيکہ ) خدا کي نافرماني نہ کرے اور حد (ضرورت) سے باہر نہ نکل جائے اس پر کچھ گناہ نہيں. بےشک خدا بخشنے والا (اور) رحم کرنے والا ہے 2:173

2:173 He has forbidden to you only carrion, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that over which any name other than God's has been invoked; but if one is driven by necessity - neither coveting it nor exceeding his immediate need -no sin shall be upon him: for, behold, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.2:173
