Order, Fasting

 أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصِّيَامِ الرَّفَثُ إِلَى نِسَآئِكُمْ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ عَلِمَ اللّهُ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَخْتانُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَفَا عَنكُمْ فَالآنَ بَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَابْتَغُواْ مَا كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَكُلُواْ وَاشْرَبُواْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّواْ الصِّيَامَ إِلَى الَّليْلِ وَلاَ تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَقْرَبُوهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ 2:187

روزوں کي راتوں ميں تمہارے لئے اپني عورتوں کے پاس جانا کرديا گيا ہے وہ تمہاري پوشاک ہيں اور تم ان کي پوشاک ہو خدا کو معلوم ہے کہ تم (ان کے پاس جانے سے) اپنے حق ميں خيانت کرتے تھے سو اس نے تم پر مہرباني کي اور تمہاري حرکات سےدرگزرفرمائي.اب (تم کو اختيار ہے کہ) ان سے مباشرت کرو. اور خدا نے جو چيز تمہارے لئے لکھ رکھي ہے (يعني اولاد) اس کو (خدا سے) طلب کرو اور کھاؤ پيو يہاں تک کہ صبح کي سفيد دھاري (رات کي) سياہ دھاري سے الگ نظر آنے لگے. پھر روزہ (رکھ کر) رات تک پورا کرو اور جب تم مسجدوں ميں اعتکاف بيٹھے ہو تو ان سے مباشرت نہ کرو. يہ خدا کي حديں ہيں ان کے پاس نہ جانا. اسي طرح خدا اپني آيتيں لوگوں کے (سمجھانے کے) لئے کھول کھول کر بيان فرماتا ہے تاکہ وہ پرہيزگار بنيں 2:187

 2:187 IT IS lawful for you to go in unto your wives during the night preceding the [day's] fast: they are as a garment for you, and you are as a garment for them. God is aware that you would have deprived yourselves of this right, and so He has turned unto you in His mercy and removed this hardship from you. Now, then, you may lie with them skin to skin, and avail yourselves of that which God has ordained for you, and eat and drink until you can discern the white streak of dawn against the blackness of night, and then resume fasting until nightfall; but do not lie with them skin to skin when you are about to abide in meditation in houses of worship. These are the bounds set by God: do not, then, offend against them - [for] it is thus that God makes clear His messages unto mankind, so that they might remain conscious of Him.2:187

 2:187 Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah. Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.2:187
