فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ 2:200 |

پھر جب حج کے تمام ارکان پورے کرچکو تو (مني? ميں) خدا کو ياد کرو. جس طرح اپنے باپ دادا کو ياد کيا کرتے تھے بلکہ اس سے بھي زيادہ اور بعض لوگ ايسے ہيں جو (خدا سے) التجا کرتے ہيں کہ اے پروردگار ہم کو (جو دنيا ہے) دنيا ہي ميں عنايت کر ايسے لوگوں کا آخرت ميں کچھ حصہ نہيں 2:200

2:200 And when you have performed your acts of worship, [continue to] bear God in mind as you would bear your own fathers in mind-nay, with a yet keener remembrance! For there are people who [merely] pray, "O our Sustainer! Give us in this world" -and such shall not partake in the blessings of the life to come.2:200
