فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلاَ تَحِلُّ لَهُ مِن بَعْدُ حَتَّىَ تَنكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يَتَرَاجَعَا إِن ظَنَّا أَن يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ اللّهِ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ يُبَيِّنُهَا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ 2:230 |

پھر اگر شوہر (دو طلاقوں کے بعد تيسري) طلاق عورت کو دے دے تو اس کے بعد جب تک عورت کسي دوسرے شخص سے نکاح نہ کرلے اس (پہلے شوہر) پر حلال نہ ہوگي. ہاں اگر دوسرا خاوند بھي طلاق دے دے اورعورت اور پہلا خاوند پھر ايک دوسرے کي طرف رجوع کرليں تو ان پر کچھ گناہ نہيں بشرطيکہ دونوں يقين کريں کہ خدا کي حدوں کو قائم رکھ سکيں گے اور يہ خدا کي حديں ہيں ان کو وہ ان لوگوں کے لئے بيان فرماتا ہے جو دانش رکھتے ہيں 2:230

2:230 And if he divorces her [finally], she shall thereafter not be lawful unto him unless she first takes another man for husband; then, if the latter divorces her, there shall be no sin upon either of the two if they return to one another-provided that both of them think that they will be able to keep within the bounds set by God: for these are the bounds of God which He makes clear unto people of [innate] knowledge.2:230

2:230 So if a husband divorces his wife (irrevocably), He cannot, after that, re-marry her until after she has married another husband and He has divorced her. In that case there is no blame on either of them if they re-unite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allah. Such are the limits ordained by Allah, which He makes plain to those who understand.2:230
