وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاء فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَاجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَاضَوْاْ بَيْنَهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ذَلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ ذَلِكُمْ أَزْكَى لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ 2:232 |

اور جب تم عورتوں کو طلاق دے چکو اور ان کي عدت پوري ہوجائے تو ان کو دوسرے شوہروں کے ساتھ جب وہ آپس ميں جائز طور پر راضي ہوجائيں نکاح کرنے سے مت روکو. اس (حکم) سے اس شخص کو نصيحت کي جاتي ہے جو تم ميں خدا اور روز آخرت پر يقين رکھتا ہے. يہ تمہارے لئے نہايت خوب اور بہت پاکيزگي کي بات ہے اور خدا جانتا ہے اور تم نہيں جانتے 2:232

2:232 And when you divorce women, and they have come to the end of their waiting-term, hinder them not from marrying other men if they have agreed with each other in a fair manner. This is an admonition unto every one of you who believes in God and the Last Day; it is the most virtuous [way] for you, and the cleanest. And God knows, whereas you do not know.2:232

2:232 When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), do not prevent them from marrying their (former) husbands, if they mutually agree on equitable terms. This instruction is for all amongst you, who believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is (the course Making for) most virtue and purity amongst you and Allah knows, and ye know not.2:232
