فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُدُ جَالُوتَ وَآتَاهُ اللّهُ الْمُلْكَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُ مِمَّا يَشَاء وَلَوْلاَ دَفْعُ اللّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَّفَسَدَتِ الأَرْضُ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ 2:251 |

تو طالوت کي فوج نے خدا کے حکم سے ان کو ہزيمت دي. اور داؤد نے جالوت کو قتل کر ڈالا. اور خدا نے اس کو بادشاہي اور دانائي بخشي اور جو کچھ چاہا سکھايا. اور خدا لوگوں کو ايک دوسرے (پر چڑھائي اور حملہ کرنے) سے ہٹاتا نہ رہتا تو ملک تباہ ہوجاتا ليکن خدا اہل عالم پر بڑا مہربان ہے2:251

2:251 And thereupon, by God's leave, they routed them. And David slew Goliath; and God bestowed upon him dominion, and wisdom, and imparted to him the knowledge of whatever He willed. And if God had not enabled people to defend themselves against one another, corruption would surely overwhelm the earth: but God is limitless in His bounty unto all the worlds.2:251

And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.2:251
