إِن تُبْدُواْ الصَّدَقَاتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَ وَإِن تُخْفُوهَا وَتُؤْتُوهَا الْفُقَرَاء فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لُّكُمْ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ 2:271 |

اگر تم خيرات ظاہر دو تو وہ بھي خوب ہے اور اگر پوشيدہ دو اور دو بھي اہل حاجت کو تو وہ خوب تر ہے اور (اس طرح کا دينا) تمہارے گناہوں کو بھي دور کردے گا. اور خدا کو تمہارے سب کاموں کي خبر ہے 2:271

2:271 If you do deeds of charity openly, it is well; but if you bestow it upon the needy in secret, it will be even better for you, and it will atone for some of your bad deeds. And God is aware of all that you do.2:271
