فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُواْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَلَكُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ 2:36 |

پھر شيطان نے دونوں کو وہاں سے پھسلا ديا اور جس (عيش ونشاط) ميں تھے، اس سے ان کو نکلوا ديا. تب ہم نے حکم ديا کہ (بہشت بريں سے) چلے جاؤ. تم ايک دوسرے کے دشمن ہو، اور تمہارے ليے زمين ميں ايک وقت تک ٹھکانا اور معاش (مقرر کر ديا گيا) ہے2:36

2:36 But Satan caused them both to stumble therein, and thus brought about the loss of their erstwhile state. And so We said: "Down with you, [and be henceforth] enemies unto one another; and on earth you shall have your abode and your livelihood for a while !" 2:36
