الزَّانِيَةُ وَالزَّانِي فَاجْلِدُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا مِئَةَ جَلْدَةٍ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُم بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَلْيَشْهَدْ عَذَابَهُمَا طَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 24:2 |

بدکاري کرنے والي عورت اور بدکاري کرنے والا مرد (جب ان کي بدکاري ثابت ہوجائے تو) دونوں ميں سے ہر ايک کو سو درے مارو. اور اگر تم خدا اور روز آخرت پر ايمان رکھتے ہو تو شرع خدا (کے حکم) ميں تمہيں ان پر ہرگز ترس نہ آئے. اور چاہيئے کہ ان کي سزا کے وقت مسلمانوں کي ايک جماعت بھي موجود ہو 24:2

24:2 AS FOR the adulteress and the adulterer flog each of them with a hundred stripes, and let not compassion with them keep you from [carrying out] this law of God, if you [truly] believe in God and the Last Day; and let a group of the believers witness their chastisement. 24:2
