Those, Who Tried to Escape When Needed

 الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ لإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُواْ لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا قُلْ فَادْرَؤُوا عَنْ أَنفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 3:168

يہ خود تو (جنگ سے بچ کر) بيٹھ ہي رہے تھے مگر (جنہوں نے راہ خدا ميں جانيں قربان کرديں) اپنے (ان) بھائيوں کے بارے ميں بھي کہتے ہيں کہ اگر ہمارا کہا مانتے تو قتل نہ ہوتے. کہہ دو کہ اگر سچے ہو تو اپنے اوپر سے موت کو ٹال دينا3:168

 3:168 they who, having themselves held back [from fighting, later] said of their [slain] brethren, "Had they but paid heed to us, they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert, then, death from yourselves, if what you say is true!"3:168
