 أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّى فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ 3:23

بھلا تم نے ان لوگوں کو نہيں ديکھا جن کو کتاب (خدا يعني تورات سے) بہرہ ديا گيا اور وہ (اس) کتاب الله کي طرف بلائے جاتے ہيں تاکہ وہ (ان کے تنازعات کا) ان ميں فيصلہ کر دے تو ايک فريق ان ميں سے کج ادائي کے ساتھ منہ پھير ليتا ہے 3:23

 3:23 Art thou not aware of those who have been granted their share of revelation [aforetime]? They have been called upon to let God's writ be their law - and yet some of them turn away [from it] in their obstinacy,3:23

 3:23 Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute, but a party of them Turn back and decline (The arbitration).3:23
