فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَـى مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ 3:39 |

وہ ابھي عبادت گاہ ميں کھڑے نماز ہي پڑھ رہے تھے کہ فرشتوں نے آواز دي کہ (زکريا) خدا تمہيں يحيي? کي بشارت ديتا ہے جو خدا کے فيض يعني (عيسي?) کي تصديق کريں گے اور سردار ہوں گے اور عورتوں سے رغبت نہ رکھنے والے اور (خدا کے) پيغمبر (يعني) نيکو کاروں ميں ہوں گے 3:39

3:39 Thereupon, as he stood praying in the sanctuary, the angels called out unto him: "God sends thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] John, who shall confirm the truth of a word from God, and [shall be] outstanding among men, and utterly chaste, and a prophet from among the righteous."3:39
