 الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنَى وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاء إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 35:1

سب تعريف خدا ہي کو (سزاوار ہے) جو آسمانوں اور زمين کا پيدا کرنے والا (اور) فرشتوں کو قاصد بنانے والا ہے جن کے دو دو اور تين تين اور چار چار پر ہيں. وہ (اپني) مخلوقات ميں جو چاہتا ہے بڑھاتا ہے. بےشک خدا ہر چيز پر قادر ہے 35:1

 35:1 ALL PRAISE is due to God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, who causes the angels to be (His) message-bearers, endowed with wings, two, or three, or four. [Unceasingly] He adds to His creation whatever He wills: for, verily, God has the power to will anything. 35:1

 35:1 Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels, messengers with wings,- two, or three, or four (pairs): He adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things.35:1
