 إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَى دَاوُودَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ خَصْمَانِ بَغَى بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَاهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاء الصِّرَاطِ 38:22

جس وقت وہ داؤد کے پاس آئے تو وہ ان سے گھبرا گئے انہوں نے کہا کہ خوف نہ کيجيئے. ہم دونوں کا ايک مقدمہ ہے کہ ہم ميں سے ايک نے دوسرے پر زيادتي کي ہے تو آپ ہم ميں انصاف کا فيصلہ کر ديجيئے اور بےانصافي نہ کيجيئے گا اور ہم کو سيدھا رستہ دکھا ديجيئے 38:22
