 وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ اشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ الَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ 39:45

اور جب تنہا خدا کا ذکر کيا جاتا ہے تو جو لوگ آخرت پر ايمان نہيں رکھتے ان کے دل منقبض ہوجاتے ہيں. اور جب اس کے سوا اوروں کا ذکر کيا جاتا ہے تو خوش ہوجاتے ہيں39:45

 39:45 And yet, whenever God alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who will not believe in the life to come contract with bitter aversion - whereas, when those [imaginary powers] are mentioned side by side with Him, lo, they rejoice! 39:45

 39:45 When Allah, the One and Only, is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust and horror; but when (gods) other than He are mentioned, behold, they are filled with joy!39:45
