Order, Distribution of Inheritance

 يُوصِيكُمُ اللّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاء فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ آبَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبناؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعاً فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيما حَكِيمًا 4:11

خدا تمہاري اولاد کے بارے ميں تم کو ارشاد فرماتا ہے کہ ايک لڑکے کا حصہ دو لڑکيوں کے حصے کے برابر ہے. اور اگر اولاد ميت صرف لڑکياں ہي ہوں (يعني دو يا) دو سے زيادہ تو کل ترکے ميں ان کادو تہائي. اور اگر صرف ايک لڑکي ہو تو اس کا حصہ نصف. اور ميت کے ماں باپ کا يعني دونوں ميں سے ہر ايک کا ترکے ميں چھٹا حصہ بشرطيکہ ميت کے اولاد ہو. اور اگر اولاد نہ ہو اور صرف ماں باپ ہي اس کے وارث ہوں تو ايک تہائي ماں کا حصہ. اور اگر ميت کے بھائي بھي ہوں تو ماں کا چھٹا حصہ. (اور يہ تقسيم ترکہ ميت کي) وصيت (کي تعميل) کے بعد جو اس نے کي ہو يا قرض کے (ادا ہونے کے بعد جو اس کے ذمے ہو عمل ميں آئے گي) تم کو معلوم نہيں کہ تمہارے باپ دادؤں اور بيٹوں پوتوں ميں سے فائدے کے لحاظ سے کون تم سے زيادہ قريب ہے، يہ حصے خدا کے مقرر کئے ہوئے ہيں اور خدا سب کچھ جاننے والا اور حکمت والا ہے 4:11

 4:11 CONCERNING [the inheritance of] your children, God enjoins [this] upon you: The male shall have the equal of two females’ share; but if there are more than two females, they shall have two-thirds of what [their parents] leave behind; and if there is only one daughter, she shall have one-half thereof. And as for the parents [of the deceased], each of them shall have one-sixth of what he leaves behind, in the event of his having [left] a child; but if he has left no child and his parents are his [only] heirs, then his mother shall have one-third; and if he has brothers and sisters, then his mother shall have one-sixth after [the deduction of] any bequest he may have made, or any debt [he may have incurred]. As for your parents and your children - you know not which of them is more deserving of benefit from you: [therefore this] ordinance from God. Verily, God is all-knowing, wise.4:11

 4:11 Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. The distribution in all cases (is) after the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.4:11
