 إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإْسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَى وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا 4:163

(اے محمد?) ہم نے تمہاري طرف اسي طرح وحي بھيجي ہے جس طرح نوح اور ان سے پچھلے پيغمبروں کي طرف بھيجي تھي. اور ابراہيم اور اسمعيل اور اسحاق اور يعقوب اور اولاد يعقوب اور عيسي? اور ايوب اور يونس اور ہارون اور سليمان کي طرف بھي ہم نے وحي بھيجي تھي اور داؤد کو ہم نے زبور بھي عنايت کي تھي4:163

 4:163 BEHOLD, We have inspired thee [O Prophet] just as We inspired Noah and all the prophets after him - as We inspired Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and their descendants, including Jesus and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron, and Solomon; and as We vouchsafed unto David a book of divine wisdom; 4:163
