وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّى إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الآنَ وَلاَ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا 4:18 |

اور ايسے لوگوں کي توبہ قبول نہيں ہوتي جو (ساري عمر) برے کام کرتے ہيں. يہاں تک کہ جب ان ميں سے کسي موت آموجود ہو تو اس وقت کہنے لگے کہ اب ميں توبہ کرتا ہوں اور نہ ان کي (توبہ قبول ہوتي ہے) جو کفر کي حالت ميں مريں. ايسے لوگوں کے لئے ہم نے عذاب اليم تيار کر رکھا ہے 4:18

4:18 whereas repentance shall not be accepted from those who do evil deeds until their dying hour and then say, "Behold, I now repent"; nor from those who die as deniers of the truth: it is these for whom We have readied grievous suffering.4:18
