حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَّهَاتُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُكُمْ وَأَخَوَاتُكُمْ وَعَمَّاتُكُمْ وَخَالاَتُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُ الأَخِ وَبَنَاتُ الأُخْتِ وَأُمَّهَاتُكُمُ اللاَّتِي أَرْضَعْنَكُمْ وَأَخَوَاتُكُم مِّنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَأُمَّهَاتُ نِسَآئِكُمْ وَرَبَائِبُكُمُ اللاَّتِي فِي حُجُورِكُم مِّن نِّسَآئِكُمُ اللاَّتِي دَخَلْتُم بِهِنَّ فَإِن لَّمْ تَكُونُواْ دَخَلْتُم بِهِنَّ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَحَلاَئِلُ أَبْنَائِكُمُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ أَصْلاَبِكُمْ وَأَن تَجْمَعُواْ بَيْنَ الأُخْتَيْنِ إَلاَّ مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا 4:23 |

تم پر تمہاري مائيں اور بيٹياں اور بہنيں اور پھوپھياں اور خالائيں اور بھتيجياں اور بھانجياں اور وہ مائيں جنہوں نے تم کو دودھ پلايا ہو اور رضاعي بہنيں اور ساسيں حرام کر دي گئي ہيں اور جن عورتوں سے تم مباشرت کر چکے ہو ان کي لڑکياں جنہيں تم پرورش کرتے (ہو وہ بھي تم پر حرام ہيں) ہاں اگر ان کے ساتھ تم نے مباشرت نہ کي ہو تو (ان کي لڑکيوں کے ساتھ نکاح کر لينے ميں) تم پر کچھ گناہ نہيں اور تمہارے صلبي بيٹوں کي عورتيں بھي اور دو بہنوں کا اکٹھا کرنا بھي (حرام ہے) مگر جو ہو چکا (سو ہو چکا) بے شک خدا بخشنے والا (اور) رحم کرنے والا ہے 4:23

4:23 Forbidden to you are your mothers, and your daughters, and your sisters, and your aunts paternal and maternal, and a brother's daughters, and a sister's daughters; and your milk-mothers, and your milk-sisters; and the mothers of your wives; and your step-daughters - who are your foster children - born of your wives with whom you have consummated your marriage; but if you have not consummated your marriage, you will incur no sin [by marrying their daughters]; and [forbidden to you are] the spouses of the sons who have sprung from your loins; and [you are forbidden] to have two sisters [as your wives] at one and the same time - but what is past is past: for, behold, God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.4:23

4:23 Prohibited to you (For marriage) are:- Your mothers, daughters, sisters; father's sisters, Mother's sisters; brother's daughters, sister's daughters; foster-mothers (Who gave you suck), foster-sisters; your wives' mothers; your step-daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom ye have gone in,- no prohibition if ye have not gone in;- (Those who have been) wives of your sons proceeding from your loins; and two sisters in wedlock at one and the same time, except for what is past; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;-4:23
