 هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا شُيُوخًا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّى مِن قَبْلُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ 40:67

وہي تو ہے جس نے تم کو (پہلے) مٹي سے پيدا کيا. ہھر نطفہ بنا کر پھر لوتھڑا بنا کر پھر تم کو نکالتا ہے (کہ تم) بچّے (ہوتے ہو) پھر تم اپني جواني کو پہنچتے ہو. پھر بوڑھے ہوجاتے ہو. اور کوئي تم ميں سے پہلے ہي مرجاتا ہے اور تم (موت کے) وقت مقرر تک پہنچ جاتے ہو اور تاکہ تم سمجھو40:67

 40:67 It is He who creates you out of dust, and then out of a drop of sperm, and then out of a germ-cell; and then He brings you forth as children; and then [He ordains] that you reach maturity, and then, that you grow old - though some of you [He causes to] die earlier -: and [all this He ordains] so that you might reach a term set [by Him], and that you might [learn to] use your reason.40:67
