 وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا جَاء أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قُضِيَ بِالْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ 40:78

اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے (بہت سے) پيغمبر بھيجے. ان ميں کچھ تو ايسے ہيں جن کے حالات تم سے بيان کر ديئے ہيں اور کچھ ايسے ہيں جن کے حالات بيان نہيں کئے. اور کسي پيغمبر کا مقدور نہ تھا کہ خدا کے حکم کے سوا کوئي نشاني لائے. پھر جب خدا کا حکم آپہنچا تو انصاف کے ساتھ فيصلہ کرديا گيا اور اہل باطل نقصان ميں پڑ گئے 40:78

 40:78 And, indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God’s leave. Yet when God’s will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 40:78

 40:78 We did aforetime send apostles before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any apostle to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah. but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods.40:78
