See, What Happened to Those who Denied

 أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَانُوا أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَآثَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ 40:82

کيا ان لوگوں نے زمين ميں سير نہيں کي تاکہ ديکھتے جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے ان کا انجام کيسا ہوا. (حالانکہ) وہ ان سے کہيں زيادہ طاقتور اور زمين ميں نشانات (بنانے) کے اعتبار سے بہت بڑھ کر تھے. تو جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے وہ ان کے کچھ کام نہ آيا 40:82

 40:82 HAVE THEY, then, never journeyed about the earth and beheld what happened in the end to those [deniers of the truth] who lived before their time? More numerous were they, and greater in power than they are, and in the impact which they left on earth: but all that they ever achieved was of no avail to them –40:82
