 فَلَمَّا جَاءتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرِحُوا بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ الْعِلْمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُون 40:83

اور جب ان کے پيغمبر ان کے پاس کھلي نشانياں لے کر آئے تو جو علم (اپنے خيال ميں) ان کے پاس تھا اس پر اترانے لگے اور جس چيز سے تمسخر کيا کرتے تھے اس نے ان کو آ گھيرا 40:83

 40:83 for when their apostles came to them with all evidence of the truth, they arrogantly exulted in whatever knowledge they [already] possessed: and [so, in the end,] they were overwhelmed by the very thing which they were wont to deride. 40:83
