Hood(pbuh), People of Aad

 فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ 41:15

جو عاد تھے وہ ناحق ملک ميں غرور کرنے لگے اور کہنے لگے کہ ہم سے بڑھ کر قوت ميں کون ہے؟ کيا انہوں نے نہيں ديکھا کہ خدا جس نے ان کو پيدا کيا وہ ان سے قوت ميں بہت بڑھ کر ہے. اور وہ ہماري آيتوں سے انکار کرتے رہے41:15

 41:15 Now as for [the tribe of] Ad, they walked arrogantly on earth, [offending] against all right, and saying, “Who could have a power greater than ours?” Why - were they, then, not aware that God, who created them, had a power greater than theirs? But they went on rejecting Our messages;41:15

 41:15 Now the 'Ad behaved arrogantly through the land, against (all) truth and reason, and said: "Who is superior to us in strength?" What! did they not see that Allah, Who created them, was superior to them in strength? But they continued to reject Our Signs!41:15
