Allah(swt), Addressing Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)

 يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا عَلَيَّ إِسْلَامَكُم بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَاكُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 49:17

يہ لوگ تم پر احسان رکھتے ہيں کہ مسلمان ہوگئے ہيں. کہہ دو کہ اپنے مسلمان ہونے کا مجھ پر احسان نہ رکھو. بلکہ خدا تم پر احسان رکھتا ہے کہ اس نے تمہيں ايمان کا رستہ دکھايا بشرطيکہ تم سچے (مسلمان) ہو 49:17

 49:17 Many people think that they have bestowed a favour upon thee [O Prophet] by having surrendered [to thee]. Say thou: “Deem not your surrender a favour unto me: nay, but it is God who bestows a favour upon you by showing you the way to faith - if you are true to your word!”49:17
