Allah(swt), told us to make us realize

 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ 5:104

اور جب ان لوگوں سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ جو (کتاب) خدا نے نازل فرمائي ہے اس کي اور رسول الله کي طرف رجوع کرو تو کہتے ہيں کہ جس طريق پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو پايا ہے وہي ہميں کافي ہے بھلا اگر ان کے باپ دادا نہ تو کچھ جانتے ہوں اور نہ سيدھے رستے پر ہوں (تب بھي؟) 5:104

 5:104 for when they are told, "Come unto that which God has bestowed from on high, and unto the Apostle" - they answer, "Enough for us is that which we found our forefathers believing in and doing." Why, even though their forefathers knew nothing, and were devoid of all guidance?5:104
