 يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى وَلَكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنتُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَارْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْأَمَانِيُّ حَتَّى جَاء أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ 57:14

تو منافق لوگ مومنوں سے کہيں گے کہ کيا ہم (دنيا ميں) تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے وہ کہيں گے کيوں نہيں تھے. ليکن تم نے خود اپنے تئيں بلا ميں ڈالا اور (ہمارے حق ميں حوادث کے) منتظر رہے اور (اسلام ميں) شک کيا اور (لاطائل) آرزوؤں نے تم کو دھوکہ ديا يہاں تک کہ خدا کا حکم آ پہنچا اور خدا کے بارے ميں تم کو (شيطان) دغاباز دغا ديتا رہا 57:14

 57:14 They [who will remain without] will call out to those [within], “Were we not with you?” - [to which] the others will answer: “So it was! But you allowed yourselves to succumb to temptation, and you were hesitant [in your faith], and you were doubtful [of resurrection]; and your wishful thinking beguiled you until God’s command came to pass: for, [indeed, your own] deceptive thoughts about God deluded you 57:14

 57:14 (Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted (Allah's Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah.57:14
