Comments, On Mushriks

 وَقَالُواْ هَـذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لاَّ يَطْعَمُهَا إِلاَّ مَن نّشَاء بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لاَّ يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاء عَلَيْهِ سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ 6:138

اور اپنے خيال سے يہ بھي کہتے ہيں کہ يہ چارپائے اور کھيتي منع ہے اسے اس شخص کے سوا جسے ہم چاہيں کوئي نہ کھائے اور (بعض) چارپائے ايسے ہيں کہ ان کي پيٹ پر چڑھنا منع کر ديا گيا ہے اور بعض مويشي ايسے ہيں جن پر (ذبح کرتے وقت) خدا کا نام نہيں ليتے سب خدا پر جھوٹ ہے وہ عنقريب ان کو ان کے جھوٹ کا بدلہ دے گا 6:138

 6:138 And they say, "Such-and-such cattle and fruits of the field are sacred; none may eat thereof save those whom we will [to do so]" -so they [falsely] claim; and [they declare that] it is forbidden to burden the backs of certain kinds of cattle; and there are cattle over which they do not pronounce God's name - falsely attributing [the origin of these customs] to Him. [But] He will requite them for all their false imagery.6:138

 6:138 And they say that such and such cattle and crops are taboo, and none should eat of them except those whom - so they say - We wish; further, there are cattle forbidden to yoke or burden, and cattle on which, (at slaughter), the name of Allah is not pronounced; - inventions against Allah's name: soon will He requite them for their inventions.6:138
