وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ جَنَّاتٍ مَّعْرُوشَاتٍ وَغَيْرَ مَعْرُوشَاتٍ وَالنَّخْلَ وَالزَّرْعَ مُخْتَلِفًا أُكُلُهُ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالرُّمَّانَ مُتَشَابِهًا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَابِهٍ كُلُواْ مِن ثَمَرِهِ إِذَا أَثْمَرَ وَآتُواْ حَقَّهُ يَوْمَ حَصَادِهِ وَلاَ تُسْرِفُواْ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ 6:141 |

اور خدا ہي تو ہے جس نے باغ پيدا کئے چھتريوں پر چڑھائے ہوئے بھي اور جو چھتريوں پر نہيں چڑھائے ہوئے وہ بھي اور کھجور اور کھيتي جن کے طرح طرح کے پھل ہوتے ہيں اور زيتون اور انار جو (بعض باتوں ميں) ايک دوسرے سے ملتے ہيں جب يہ چيزيں پھليں تو ان کے پھل کھاؤ اور جس دن (پھل توڑو اور کھيتي) کاٹو تو خدا کا حق بھي اس ميں سے ادا کرو اور بےجا نہ اڑاؤ کہ خدا بيجا اڑانے والوں کو دوست نہيں رکھتا 6:141

6:141 For it is He who has brought into being gardens-[both] the cultivated ones and those growing wild -and the date-palm, and fields bearing multiform produce, and the olive tree, and the pomegranate: [all] resembling one another and yet so different! Eat of their fruit when it comes to fruition, and give [unto the poor] their due on harvest day. And do not waste [God's bounties]: verily, He does not love the wasteful!6:141

6:141 It is He Who produceth gardens, with trellises and without, and dates, and tilth with produce of all kinds, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in variety): eat of their fruit in their season, but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not by excess: for Allah loveth not the wasters.6:141
