 هُوَ الَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُوا مِن قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ 62:2

وہي تو ہے جس نے ان پڑھوں ميں ان ہي ميں سے (محمد?) کو پيغمبر (بنا کر) بھيجا جو ان کے سامنے اس کي آيتيں پڑھتے اور ان کو پاک کرتے اور (خدا کي) کتاب اور دانائي سکھاتے ہيں. اور اس ے پہلے تو يہ لوگ صريح گمراہي ميں تھے 62:2

 62:2 He it is who has sent unto the unlettered people an apostle from among themselves, to convey unto them His messages, and to cause them to grow in purity, and to impart unto them the divine writ as well as wisdom - whereas before that they were indeed, most obviously, lost in error62:2
