وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ أُمَمًا مِّنْهُمُ الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَبَلَوْنَاهُمْ بِالْحَسَنَاتِ وَالسَّيِّئَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 7:168 |

اور ہم نے ان کو جماعت جماعت کرکے ملک ميں منتشر کر ديا. بعض ان ميں سے نيکوکار ہيں اور بعض اور طرح کے (يعني بدکار) اور ہم آسائشوں، تکليفوں (دونوں) سے ان کي آزمائش کرتے رہے تاکہ (ہماري طرف) رجوع کريں7:168

7:168 And We dispersed them as [separate] communities all over the earth; some of them were righteous, and some of them less than that: and the latter We tried with blessings as well as with afflictions, so that they might mend their ways. 7:168
