Those who do not believe

 هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ تَأْوِيلَهُ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيلُهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَاءتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَاء فَيَشْفَعُواْ لَنَا أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ قَدْ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ 7:53

کيا يہ لوگ اس کے وعدہ? عذاب کے منتظر ہيں. جس دن وہ وعدہ آجائے گا تو جو لوگ اس کو پہلے سے بھولے ہوئے ہوں گے وہ بول اٹھيں گے کہ بےشک ہمارے پروردگار کے رسول حق لے کر آئے تھے. بھلا (آج) ہمارا کوئي سفارشي ہيں کہ ہماري سفارش کريں يا ہم (دنيا ميں) پھر لوٹا ديئے جائيں کہ جو عمل (بد) ہم (پہلے) کرتے تھے (وہ نہ کريں بلکہ) ان کے سوا اور (نيک) عمل کريں. بےشک ان لوگوں نے اپنا نقصان کيا اور جو کچھ يہ افتراء کيا کرتے تھے ان سے سب جاتا رہا7:53

 7:53 Are [the unbelievers] but waiting for the final meaning of that [Day of Judgment] to unfold? [But] on the Day when its final meaning is unfolded, those who aforetime had been oblivious thereof will say: "Our Sustainer's apostles have indeed told us the truth! Have we, then, any intercessors who could intercede in our behalf? Or could we be brought back [to life] so that we might act otherwise than we were wont to act?" Indeed, they will have squandered their own selves, and all their false imagery will have forsaken them.7:53

 7:53 Do they just wait for the final fulfilment of the event? On the day the event is finally fulfilled, those who disregarded it before will say: "The apostles of our Lord did indeed bring true (tidings). Have we no intercessors now to intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back? then should we behave differently from our behaviour in the past." In fact they will have lost their souls, and the things they invented will leave them in the lurch.7:53
