قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ وَغَضَبٌ أَتُجَادِلُونَنِي فِي أَسْمَاء سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَآؤكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ اللّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ فَانتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ 7:71 |

ہود نے کہا تمہارے پروردگار کي طرف سے تم پر عذاب اور غضب کا (نازل ہونا) مقرر ہو چکا ہے. کيا تم مجھ سے ايسے ناموں کے بارے ميں جھگڑتے ہو جو تم نے اور تمہارے باپ دادا نے (اپني طرف سے) رکھ لئے ہيں. جن کي خدا نے کوئي سند نازل نہيں کي. تو تم بھي انتظار کرو ميں بھي تمہارے ساتھ انتظار کرتا ہوں 7:71

7:71 Said [Hud]: "You are already beset by loath some evils and by your Sustainer's condemnation! Do you argue with me about the [empty] names which you have invented - you and your forefathers - for which God has bestowed no warrant from on high? Wait, then, [for what will happen:] verily, I shall wait with you!" 7:71
