قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِي مِلَّتِكُم بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّانَا اللّهُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَن نَّعُودَ فِيهَا إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاء اللّهُ رَبُّنَا وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا عَلَى اللّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ 7:89 |

اگر ہم اس کے بعد کہ خدا ہميں اس سے نجات بخش چکا ہے تمہارے مذہب ميں لوٹ جائيں تو بےشک ہم نے خدا پر جھوٹ افتراء باندھا. اور ہميں شاياں نہيں کہ ہم اس ميں لوٹ جائيں ہاں خدا جو ہمارا پروردگار ہے وہ چاہے تو (ہم مجبور ہيں). ہمارے پروردگار کا علم ہر چيز پر احاطہ کيے ہوئے ہے. ہمارا خدا ہي پر بھروسہ ہے. اے پروردگار ہم ميں اور ہماري قوم ميں انصاف کے ساتھ فيصلہ کردے اور تو سب سے بہتر فيصلہ کرنے والا ہے 7:89

7:89 We should be guilty of blaspheming against God were we to return to your ways after God has saved us from them! It is not conceivable that we should return to them-unless God, our Sustainer, so wills. All things does our Sustainer embrace within His knowledge; in God do we place our trust. O our Sustainer! Lay Thou open the truth between us and our people -for Thou art the best of all to lay open the truth!” 7:89

7:89 "We should indeed invent a lie against Allah, if we returned to your ways after Allah hath rescued us therefrom; nor could we by any manner of means return thereto unless it be as in the will and plan of Allah, Our Lord. Our Lord can reach out to the utmost recesses of things by His knowledge. In the Allah is our trust. our Lord! decide Thou between us and our people in truth, for Thou art the best to decide."7:89
