Allah(swt), Addressing Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)

 قُل لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِن يَنتَهُواْ يُغَفَرْ لَهُم مَّا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَإِنْ يَعُودُواْ فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّةُ الأَوَّلِينِ 8:38

(اے پيغمبر) کفار سے کہہ دو کہ اگر وہ اپنے افعال سے باز آجائيں تو جو ہوچکا وہ انہيں معاف کرديا جائے گا. اور اگر پھر (وہي حرکات) کرنے لگيں گے تو اگلے لوگوں کا (جو) طريق جاري ہوچکا ہے (وہي ان کے حق ميں برتا جائے گا) 8:38

 8:38 Tell those who are bent on denying the truth that if they desist, all that is past shall be forgiven them; but if they revert [to their wrongdoing], let them remember what happened to the like of them in times gone by. 8:38

 8:38 Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them).8:38
