وَمِنْهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ النَّبِيَّ وَيِقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٌ قُلْ أُذُنُ خَيْرٍ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 9:61 |

اور ان ميں بعض ايسے ہيں جو پيغمبر کو ايذا ديتے ہيں اور کہتے ہيں کہ يہ شخص نرا کان ہے. (ان سے) کہہ دو کہ (وہ) کان (ہے تو) تمہاري بھلائي کے ليے. وہ خدا کا اور مومنوں (کي بات) کا يقين رکھتا ہے اور جو لوگ تم ميں سے ايمان لائے ہيں ان کے ليے رحمت ہے. اور جو لوگ رسول خدا کو رنج پہنچاتے ہيں ان کے ليے عذاب اليم (تيار) ہے9:61

9:61 AND AMONG those [enemies of the truth] there are such as malign the Prophet by saying, "He is all ear." Say: "[Yes,] he is all ear, [listening] to what is good for you! He believes in God, and trusts the believers, and is [a manifestation of God's] grace towards such of you as have [truly] attained to faith. And as for those who malign God's Apostle - grievous suffering awaits them [in the life to come]!"9:61

9:61 Among them are men who molest the Prophet and say, "He is (all) ear." Say, "He listens to what is best for you: he believes in Allah, has faith in the Believers, and is a Mercy to those of you who believe." But those who molest the Messenger will have a grievous penalty.9:61
