كَيْفَ يَكُونُ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ عَهْدٌ عِندَ اللّهِ وَعِندَ رَسُولِهِ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتُّمْ عِندَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ فَمَا اسْتَقَامُواْ لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِيمُواْ لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ 9:7 |

بھلا مشرکوں کے ليے (جنہوں نے عہد توڑ ڈالا) خدا اور اس کے رسول کے نزديک عہد کيونکر (قائم) رہ سکتا ہے ہاں جن لوگوں کے ساتھ تم نے مسجد محترم (يعني خانہ کعبہ) کے نزديک عہد کيا ہے اگر وہ (اپنے عہد پر) قائم رہيں تو تم بھي اپنے قول وقرار (پر) قائم رہو. بےشک خدا پرہيز گاروں کو دوست رکھتا ہے 9:7

9:7 HOW COULD they who ascribe divinity to aught beside God be granted a covenant by God and His Apostle, unless it be those [of them] with whom you [O believers] have made a covenant in the vicinity of the Inviolable House of Worship? [As for the latter,] so long as they remain true to you, be true to them: for, verily, God loves those who are conscious of Him.9:7
